Hogchester Cottage is a charming countryside retreat that’s perfect for families with young children. Just a short drive from Lyme Regis and Charmouth Beach, the cottage provides a welcoming base for seaside exploration or moments of quiet relaxation back on the farm.

A family-friendly escape

The cottage caters to families with young children, with hands-on farmyard experiences available throughout your stay. A giant trampoline and a games room with professional pool and table tennis tables ensure there’s never a dull moment!

For those without kids, the cottage is a cosy countryside retreat. Its central location makes it easy to explore West Dorset, from the Jurassic Coast to charming nearby towns like Bridport and Axminster.

Our animal friends

Meet our friendly animals – including Peter the dog and Elvis the goat – as you enjoy daily activities like goat feeding, egg collecting, and countryside walks. With plenty of space to unwind and lots of amenities to keep all ages occupied, the cottage is an idyllic holiday spot for families and countryside explorers.

Relaxation and adventure!

After a day of exploring beaches or walking the cliffs, unwind inyour own garden area with stunning views, a charcoal barbecue, and shared access to a full therapy massage hot tub. For an additional dose of outdoor fun, why not add a‘campfire experience’ or an ATV tour of the farm? Whether you’re craving rest or adventure, Hogchester Cottage has something for everyone.

How to find the Cottage

Use the main Hogchester Entrance.

What3Words:

From the West (A35 eastbound):

After the short dual carriageway, pass signs for "The Tunnel" and "Thistlegate House" on your left. Start indicating left and, approximately 50 yards on, turn left at the signpost for Hogchester Farm.

From the East (A35 westbound):

At the Charmouth roundabout, take the third exit for Axminster. Hogchester is 300 yards on from the roundabout, with its own filter lane. Enter the filter lane and turn right into Hogchester Farm.
